Soyoung brought her love for music into the lab by examining the effects of motor activies in perceiving musical scores through binocular rivalry. She found that during binocular rivalry skilled motor action(piano playing) extends the perceptual dominance of musical scores compared to vertical gratings.
As a member of VCN, she always made those around her laugh with her sense of humor and bright energy. We will always remember her for her bravery, honesty, and kind heart.
